CFFP can best be described as a “house” that volunteerism built. In this house resides a Cranio Family made up of surgeons, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, dentists, nurses, speech pathologists, and other professionals who seek to lead meaningful lives.
We are a group of professionals, both from the medical and non medical fields, who volunteer for free to provide quality medical care to the indigent community, particularly children.
The Craniofacial Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (CFFP) is a non-stock, non-profit, non-sectarian, and non-government organization that was established by Dr. Teresita L. Tongson in the year 2000. The CFFP was duly registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) on 26 June 2000. The CFFP can trace its roots to the St. Martin de Porres Charity Hospital (SMPCH) which was founded by Dr. Aleli R. Guzman Quirino on 27 September 1959.
Children with craniofacial anomalies and disorders are most common in the indigent community. In their case, the cost of surgeries to correct or repair their anomalies and imperfections are prohibitive and beyond their reach. Providing the surgery and quality medical care that they need for free is a great financial relief and a welcome opportunity to lead a normal life.
Aside from financial, material and medical donations, we encourage people to volunteer. Come and join us make a difference in the lives of others by sharing your God-given talent(s) with the indigent community.
